Megan received her Master’s degree in Counseling from DePaul University. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to multicultural competence, social advocacy, and service. She draws from a framework that incorporates the mind-body connection as a foundation to her therapeutic approach. Megan has worked with the Improv for Anxiety program at Second City Chicago and has helped develop therapeutic improvisation models for group therapy.

Megan has experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups recovering from and navigating challenges such as grief and loss, anxiety, depression, substance use, eating disorders, trauma, compulsive behaviors, relationship issues, and navigating significant life transitions, including infertility, postpartum struggles, and parenthood.

Megan has training in evidence-based treatment modalities. She uses a holistic bio-psycho-social and strengths-based approach to counseling, utilizing modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Polyvagal Therapy. Additionally, she has completed her training in Perinatal Mental Health with Postpartum Support International (PSI).
