Therapy with me is supportive, direct, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I balance empathy with accountability, helping clients gain insight while also developing practical coping strategies they can apply in daily life. I believe therapy should feel purposeful, culturally affirming, and grounded in the client’s lived experience.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with extensive experience in community mental health, recovery services, crisis intervention, and care coordination. I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University and am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy in Advanced Human Behavior at Capella University. My background includes working with individuals with serious mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and trauma histories. In addition to clinical work, I have served in leadership and supervisory roles, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and client-centered care across multidisciplinary teams.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy community service, mentoring young girls, and coaching cheerleading. I am deeply involved in nonprofit and advocacy work focused on wellness, recovery, and empowerment. I also enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time engaged in meaningful service projects that align with my values.
