What is Therapy Like with Me?

I offer a therapeutic space rooted in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, supported, and respected, while being invited to reflect on their experiences with curiosity and honesty. My approach integrates evidence-based methods with the client’s lived experiences, honoring growth, self-understanding, and authenticity throughout the process.

Clinical Training and Experience

I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work in 2024 and my Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2023 from Loyola University Chicago under the Advanced Clinical Practice track. My career began in 2022 working with individuals experiencing grief and loss in a specialty veterinary hospital/ER setting, mainly offering short-term therapeutic sessions and assisting in groups for individuals whose furry companion had passed on in the hospital. In 2023 I progressed in my career by becoming a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) working with adults with disabilities in a case manager role at a non-profit day program. In 2026, I started a new chapter of my career into private practice at Clearwater Counseling Chicago, under the supervision of Caroline Wysgalla, LCSW.

A Bit more about Me

I am originally from China and was adopted into an Italian American family and was raised in the suburbs. I understand more Italian than I can speak. I am an animal lover! I love playing and watching softball. I have been playing softball since I was in T-Ball and continue to play in the adult leagues in Chicago. You can typically catch me playing Centerfield. I love to listen to music- mainly Spanish music!
