As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental environment to promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness. I use a patient-centered approach, recognizing the client as the expert on their symptoms and experiences. I am solution focused and view medication as a tool for promoting mental health. I encourage engaging in therapy, incorporating self-care, and connecting to the body. An emphasis is placed on collaboration to create treatment plans specifically tailored to clients’ individual needs.
