What is Therapy Like with Me?

I see therapy as a space where we can sit together in the messy parts of life, exploring the stories that shape you and finding new ways to grow. In our sessions, it’s okay to just be human. I’ll challenge you when it helps, hold space when words aren’t enough, and always meet you with acceptance and belief in your strength. Therapy is about honoring what’s kept you going, even if it no longer serves you, and helping you live in a way that feels more free and true to yourself.

Clinical Training and Experience

I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Northwestern University, currently working under the supervision of Erica Hill. My path to therapy wasn’t linear. Before, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, FL, and worked as a personal chef and one-on-one with clients on their wellness goals. That work taught me how intertwined our bodies, stories, and cultures are, and how the way we feed ourselves (literally and metaphorically) reflects so much about what we believe we deserve.

A Bit more about Me

I’m a fifth-generation Chicagoan, and I move through the city the same way I approach therapy—curious, open to surprise, and looking for beauty in the cracks. I try to be outside whenever possible, whether biking, floating in water, or just wandering. I’m a reader, a writer, a lover of dark humor, and someone who believes that the small things like a good meal, a shared laugh, or a song you play on repeat matter deeply.
