Being a therapist is a calling for me and I believe in working together to navigate life’s challenges, knowing that you are the expert on you. So, whether you are going through life changes or feel the need to put the past behind you, we will collaborate to find the best path for you. I’m someone who believes that real change is possible—with the right tools, support, and a space where you feel truly heard. My style is warm, supportive, and solution-oriented.
I have worked as a clinical therapist since 2015 and hold a master’s degree in social work becoming a LSW 2003 then LCSW 2015. I have worked for over 20 years as a social worker in the Chicagoland areas. I am employed part time as a long-term care, psychiatric social worker in many settings including: nursing homes, assisted living centers, and community mental health facilities. I have the great honor to provide clinical supervision for those perusing licensure both with Clearwater Counseling Chicago, and within the health care community of students/interns finishing college, and those who require for licensure post graduate. I am dedicated to continuing learning as our field expands. I consider myself as a therapist to hold several key qualities: warm, emphatic, non-judgmental, approachable, compassionate, strong communicator, with good interpersonal and listening skills.
