What is Therapy Like with Me?

I believe that healing begins within the safety of an authentic therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted. Together, we will unpack challenging experiences, navigate life’s ups and downs, and cultivate greater self-compassion. I bring warmth, creativity, and humor to our work, offering new perspectives that support your growth and healing. Whether you are facing current stressors or processing past trauma, we will collaborate to find a path forward that feels meaningful and empowering to you.

Clinical Training and Experience

I earned my Master’s in Social Work with a Mental Health concentration from Loyola University Chicago in 2021. My career began in community mental health where I supported individuals with daily living activities and helped connect them to social services. In 2022, I joined Clearwater Counseling Chicago, where I have continued to grow my expertise and deepen my passion for working with individuals healing from childhood trauma. My clinical approach is grounded in compassion and curiosity with a strong belief in each person’s inner wisdom and innate capacity to heal.

A Bit more about Me

I am a proud first-generation Chicagoan with Mexican and German roots, and I appreciate that Chicago offers a vibrant reflection of many cultures, including my own. I have lived in the city throughout my adult life and enjoy exploring its many neighborhoods in search of new coffee shops, restaurants, and live music venues. I love spending time outdoors—whether it be walking my dog, gardening, or having a picnic by the lake. I also enjoy making pottery and unwinding with a crime or comedy TV show alongside my partner. These interests help me stay grounded, and I’m committed to supporting you in discovering what brings you joy and a sense of balance in your own life.

Start Your Healing Journey

We are dedicated to offering Mental Health Services which are easily adaptable and low-stress and that combine strategies for assisting with the many difficult aspects and challenges that have become normal in our daily lives. Clients are encouraged and taught to actively learn about themselves and are challenged to explore new ways of being and thinking, all in a safe and comforting environment.
