I believe in the healing components of a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a culturally safe space where clients of all backgrounds feel comfortable exploring their personal strengths, struggles, and everywhere in between. I make a conscious effort to address and acknowledge the different experiences I bring into the therapy room as well as the experiences my client brings. I am passionate about working with adults, families, and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and communication
I am a graduate of Northwestern University’s Master’s of Arts in Counseling program. I interned in various clinics in Florida before deciding to finish my internship experience at Clearwater Counseling Chicago. After completing my internship and graduating, I worked with a wide demographic of individuals at Clearwater Counseling Chicago. I have had the opportunity to work with families, teens, couples, and individuals of varying ages. My work has consisted of treating individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship/familial issues.Â
I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana but have always been drawn to Chicago’s diversity and culture. My favorite way of exploring different cultures and communities is through food. I love to try new restaurants and cook for family and friends. Outside of trying delicious food and recipes, I love to spend time with my dog on the lakefront. I am passionate about trying to find the little joys in everyday life.Â
