Therapy with me is collaborative and centered on creating a comfortable, warm, and supportive space where you feel seen and respected. I believe in identifying and honoring the strengths that already serve you while thoughtfully exploring the areas where growth feels challenging. Together, we reflect, ask meaningful questions, and make intentional decisions that support your goals and evolving sense of self. In session, I emphasize optimism and encouragement while also valuing empowerment, insight, culture, faith (when appropriate), and humor as tools for connection and healing. I understand that challenges may arise throughout our therapeutic journey, and I approach those moments with curiosity and compassion. My work is structured around helping you get to know yourself more deeply so you can gain clarity about your wants, needs, and direction.
I am currently earning my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. As a Counselor in Training, I am developing my clinical skills and deepening my understanding of the healing arts. I have experience supporting adults and children in both the hospital and home health settings. As I gain experience in the private practice setting, I am currently under the clinical supervision of Erica Hill, LCSW at Clearwater Counseling Chicago.
I was born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, which has shaped my appreciation for community, resilience, and advocacy. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy getting lost in a limited series, traveling, reading mystery and relationship-focused novels, working on puzzles, and spending quality time with family and friends. I am passionate about advocating for voices that often go unheard and value spaces that allow people to show up as their full selves.
