Bali Dembowski received her Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling from Roosevelt University in May, 2020. She plans to specialize in trauma, grief, and women’s issues. Additionally, Bali has experience working with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and self-esteem issues. She uses a trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive approach to counseling, utilizing psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral theories. Bali values a strong therapeutic relationship, and viewing mental struggles from a whole person perspective focusing on both the mind and body. She is passionate about creating safe spaces for clients to gain insight and learn new coping skills, while empowering them to take the next steps toward a balanced, healthy lifestyle. She is under the direct supervision of Shaina Helm, LCSW.
